Mini Distributor




The Mini has been produced with a few different Distributors fitted to it. Most are NOT interchangeable. Make sure you match the Part number off your old one to the new or secondhand distributor. Almost definitley one of the most interesting cars on the road is the Mini. This brilliant little car now has iconic status all around the world and is on a par with the VW Beetle the mini has a giantt enthusiasts base with clubs and Forums everywhere.vehicle manufacturers started at looking buildingg smaller cars when the suez crisis hit. Mainly in the UK and Germany. Germany already had the economic VW Beetle what did the UK Have? Nothing. Germany continued on and developed the Bubble cars by Messerschmitt. BMC Had to design something to compete with these 'micro' cars and designed the Mini. In August of 1959 the Mini hit the forecourts and Dealers both as the Austin 850 and the Morris 850 both trading lables of BMC (British motor Corporation) The BMC Mini been so practical its was not overnight hit though. But By 1961 both the Austin Mini cooper and Morris Mini cooper where released and in 1963 the More power Mini Cooper S was released.

In october 2000 the last Classic mini was produced finishing many years of production of this great Car. Over the Years there have been loads special edition minis such as the Mini 25, Mini 30, Mini Studio 2,Checkmate, Racing Green and Flame red.
